About Dr. Etelka Chung

About the Author

Etelka is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Biodetection Technologies Hub based at The Wolfson Centre for Biodetection Instrumentation Research, University of Hertfordshire. Her research explores the fascinating aspects of combining aerosol science with biology and engineering, and she is particularly interested in collecting and monitoring bioaerosols. She is excited to be conducting a placement with IFLScience, as a Media Fellow of the Association of British Science Writers, to learn how to communicate science and engineering in a fun and interesting way. Outside of research, she enjoys baking cute recipes found on Instagram, although the outcome may or may not look and taste as intended.
